Happy Motorcycle New Year
This is a short video retrospective on motorcycle riding last year here in Southern California.
Yesterday, December 30, here in La Mesa California the high temperature was 81°! I believe in most of the country is a severe cold wave, so, motorcycle enthusiast living here in Southern California are really blessed with perfect riding weather and terrific scenery.

Now, to be honest, it’s not all great, why guess I should rephrase that it is all great for motorcycle riders but, all Californians pay a hefty price for living in paradise. what I’m talking about here, is some of the highest home prices and the apartment rental cost in the country! Plus, let’s not forget about our astronomical gasoline taxes, personal state income taxes and soaring drinking water fees! I could go on and on here about our far left-leaning tax-and-spend state government, but, I just wanted all the readers to note that we pay a very dear and high price for our great motorcycle riding weather here on the left coast!
Well, now that I’ve got that out of the way, let me say this is one of a very few places, where a motorcycle rider can get in some surfing in the morning, jump on your motorcycle to take in lunch at an historic, mile high, gold-mining town and then back on your bike for some twisty mountain roads as you head back to your coastal home . . . all in plenty of time for a beach dinner barbecue at La Jolla Shores!
