Ironhorse Motorcycles

Three cool looking iron horse motorcycles in San Diego’s East County.

Kevin is one guy who really likes horses . . . Not only real horses, but Ironhorses as well!

The Ironhorse motorcycle that you’re looking at on the opening screen of the above video, is a Legend model. This particular one has a 2008 Texas Chopper tank on it. If you look closely you’ll see some of the differences between the Texas Chopper, the second motorcycle in, and the Legend the first motorcycle in the foreground. First of all, look at the swinging arm on the rear wheel and you can see that the Legend is an A-frame style and on the Texas Chopper has a straight bar that goes back to the wheel. Also, you can’t tell from the picture, but, the Legend has a front end that is 2 inches shorter than the Texas Chopper. Also, the Texas Chopper (up until the 2008 model) has 280 mm rear tire, while the Legend’s rear tire is 240 mm tires. Lastly, I’d like point up the fact that the Legend has one disc brake in the front, while the Texas Chopper has two disc brakes on the front wheel.

But, specifications and differences aside, you have to admit, that these are very cool looking choppers!

Love watching your videos… keep up the great work. Just picked up a 2005 Legend myself and hope to start making lots of videos of my forthcoming adventures….

I’m a road racer, so I always have a camera, now it’s just the challenge of mounting it on my girl without it looking crazy…hahaha
