Chopper Motorcycles

chopper motorcycles

This is a little video retrospective of some of the chopper motorcycles that I’ve owned over the years.

I grew up on the East Coast and that’s where my passion for high-powered chopper motorcycles began. Actually my first motorcycle was an old 1950 something Harley-Davison with a suicide shift.

Big Dog k9 motorcycle

Big Dog k9 motorcycle

This is a photo of a 2006 big dog motorcycle K-9 model that I purchased last year in Arizona. Even though this bike was 12 years old, it was basically used as a garage trophy.

It had the electrical EHC upgrade as well as chrome custom wheels and rotors. But, the real outstanding feature of this bike, was that it had under 400 original miles! Now, I know this is hard to believe, but I checked the mileage on service receipts, yes, the owner brought it in annually to have it serviced. Plus, I look first scraping on the frame under the engine. These bikes sit very low to the ground approximately I believe about 4 inches clearance, so the bottom of the frame always gets scraped up going in driveways putting the bike on a trailer etc.

From owning a number of big dogs and also American iron horse Texas chopper’s that also have very little ground clearance, I’ve gotten to know about how much scraping these choppers show with different mileage. Sure this is not an exact science, but just another indicator to use when trying to determine the real mileage. Read more »

Motorcycle video tip

Motorcycle video tip

Make your next motorcycle video much more entertaining! I’m sure you know about VR 360 videos, this motorcycle video tip is how to use a 360° video to provide your audience scenes that you preselected from the raw 360° footage and then converted it into a regular ‘flat’ video. Motorcycle video tip:

Using this technique, is almost like having a passenger behind you filming your motorcycle ride at various angles, all from one small stationary 360° camera that is attached to your motorcycle helmet. Read more »

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:

According to IFABC Global Web Standards, a unique user (UU) is “An IP address plus a further identifier. The term “unique visitor” may be used instead of “unique user” but both terms have essentially the same meaning (see below). Sites may use User Agent, Cookie and/or Registration ID.” Note that where users are allocated IP addresses dynamically (for example by dial-up Internet service providers), this definition may overstate or understate the real number of individual users concerned. Motorcycle 4th of July

Happy Motorcycle 4th of July!

Next to old glory herself with fireworks in the sky, today, nothing personifies individual freedom like a motorcycle riding down an open highway!

Even with the popularity of motorcycle riding, actually, just a very small percentage of people will ever experience the feeling of cruising down a highway, riding through the mountains and past the open fields and small towns of our great country!

Independence Day fireworks are often accompanied by patriotic songs such as the national anthem “The Star-Spangled Banner,”, “God Bless America,”, “America the Beautiful,” “My Country, ‘Tis of Thee,” “This Land Is Your Land,” “Stars and Stripes Forever,” and, regionally, “Yankee Doodle” in northeastern states and “Dixie” in southern states.
