OCC Theme Bikes

OCC Theme Bikes

When it comes to Orange County Choppers corporate theme bikes, with most motorcycle enthusiasts, there is no middle ground . . .  You either like them or hate them!

Personally oh, I think most will agree that the OCC team was pretty creative not only with their bikes but in carving out a corporate niche four theme by creation.

The fact that Junior kicked Senior’s butt in the Junior vs. Senior contests tells you who had more talent. The fact that Junior then build his business without all the money mismanagement of OCC, tells you who is the better businessman.

American Chopper TV Show – What the cast is doing now

For years, viewers have turned to this hit reality series for their fix of sweet bikes and family fights. But if you lost track of the American Chopper stars during their long hiatus, don’t worry. We’ve got you covered with this look at everything they’ve been up to.

Just a day before the American Chopper reboot premiered in March 2018, Paul Sr. filed for bankruptcy. According to paperwork obtained by Page Six, Teutul admitted to owing nearly 50 creditors a total of more than $1 million, against a net worth of around $1.8 million. Steve Wyrick’s Magic Chopper

Magic Chopper

To celebrate Steve Wyrick’s 1,000th show at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, the Teutuls of Orange County Choppers built him a custom chopper for an epic reveal that he would be doing for an episode of the TV reality series American Chopper. When they were designing the bike, Steve Wyrick challenged them to make one part of it invisible. Together, they created a secret gas tank to be hidden in the rear wheel well so that the bike would appear to have an invisible gas tank.

With only a short period of time to complete the project, headed by Rick Petco, the focus is on the gas tank. The first time around, there was a problem with the water jet – the jet didn’t end because there were some holes in the tank that shouldn’t have been there. But after putting some scraps of aluminum and steel inside the tank, everything was working out great. Read more »

Jesse James vs Orange County Choppers

More precisely this should be American Chopper vs. Jesse James. Anyone who’s been into choppers for any length of time that has seen the TV segments from American Chopper and Jesse James, would really have to wonder if this contest was fixed. But then again, perhaps it was dominated by motorcycle chopper wannabes who were more impressed by bling versus substance.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:

The 21st Century: Reality television

The millennium began with the cable TV network The Discovery Channel creating a number of television shows around several custom bike builders who built choppers. The first, the 2000 special Motorcycle Mania, followed builder Jesse James of Long Beach, California, and is credited with creating “a new genre of reality TV” around choppers.

OCC Chopper Construction

“Bad Guys” Themed Chopper by OCC

OCC Chopper

Always interesting to watch custom craftsman putting together a motorcycle.

This is a real good video, but I think it would’ve been a lot better with the different music track. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m an old guy and maybe this appeals to the twenty-something crowd. But, like I said personally I think the music track takes away from how well the video is edited and put together. Read more »

Chopper Motorcycle by OCC

Chopper Motorcycle built by Orange County Choppers

Orange County Choppers design, engineer and fabricate a Custom Motorcycle.

Always interesting to watch the fabrication of a custom motorcycle, unfortunately, the completed custom motorcycle looks like something the clowns at the circus would ride in on.
