Motorcycle crashes head on into fire truck

Looks like the bike rider took the turn way too wide and directly into the fire truck. He is lucky to be alive!

Motorcycle accidents almost always result in injuries, extensive medical bills, and treatments. This in turn can lead to lost wages, pain and suffering, emotional turmoil, and much more. Nationwide, more than 5,000 riders are killed and about 100,000 are injured each year in motorcycle accidents.  Three-quarters of motorcycle accidents involve another vehicle and more than two-thirds of those are the fault of the other driver.

Statistics on motorcycle accidents are offered through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), which demonstrated that in 2006, 55.82 out of every 100,000 instances of motorcycle operation ended in fatal motorcycle accidents, as compared with the rate of 18.06 fatal accidents for every 100,000 instances of automobile operation.
