There were three chopper motorcycle riders from Orange County, and for chopper motorcycle riders from San Diego. Sure, seven motorcycle riders are pretty small group, but what made our group unique, is the fact that all the bikes were exceptionally good-looking, high-powered choppers.
Chopper motorcycles have been out-of-favor for a number of years. Yes at many motorcycle get-together, I’d say there are at least 20 to 30 baggars for every one chopper motorcycle. There is no doubt, for long rides, it is sure convenient to have those large saddlebags, multi-speaker stereo systems, large windshields, GPS, gas gauge and a huge gas tank.

There is also no doubt, for looks, uncluttered sleekness and the essence of high-powered minimalist functionality, nothing compares to a chopper motorcycle! On almost every ride when we have three or more good-looking choppers riding together, a quick glance over at the traffic in the next lanewe usually show a passenger filming the bikes as they go by. . . I doubt this would be true for any other style motorcycle!

It’s been estimated that this year’s Comic-Con Convention had approximately 130,000 visitors! The short motorcycle ride provides a great opportunity to get some great pictures with sci-fi/comic characters next to the bikes. Plus, it’s a great opportunity to run into some really kooky people who are passionate about sci-fi, fantasy characters and the latest in popular culture movies and TV series.
