This Sturgis was a lot of fun. Not only did we do some good riding, we also competed in an FXR-inspired bike show with our new Pitbull concept sport v-twin.
The group of us who stayed together this year rented a nice house with a large garage. The house was located between Deadwood, SD and Sturgis, SD. It allowed us to escape the commotion and noise of the rally for rest when we needed it.
Big Dog Motorcycles has attended a lot of Sturgis rallies. I’m sure we will be there representing at several more with our newly-built 2022 and later bikes. Although most of the Black Hills and Sturgis riding footage is captured from my helmet cam, some of the end shots were shot from the back of a friend’s Harley using special equipment.

This is a tiny 360 degree camera that naturally does fantastic video in up to 5.7 k as well as still photos. In this video the camera is mounted on my handlebars and is stationery. Since the camera seize everything in 360 Degrees you really don’t have to aim it! All the movement that you see was done in post-production.
The manufacturer provides free software that lets you easily edit your videos and create quite a few dramatic video effects.

The best stabilization in the game. With a camera mounted directly on the handlebars, you would think that with a large bike like this and a huge engine, there would be quite a bit of vibration in the video. Well, you’d be partially correct, because even though there is vibration, the built-in super stabilization you you get a super smooth video!
