I’ve been into custom motorcycles for over 40 years and one of the main differences that I’ve noticed, is that of late, more and more ladies are moving up from the passenger seat to the driver seat.
For motorcycle riding out here in San Diego and Southern California, it seems to me, quite a few ladies have become exceptional big bike/chopper motorcycle riders.
American Performance Cycles was a small custom motorcycle manufacturer located in Las Vegas. I believe like a number of other custom bike manufacturers, the great recession forced them out of business. American iron horse and Big Dog motorcycles were also casualties of the recession and the shift from choppers to baggers.
