Below is a review of the 2004 Texas Chopper by another owner:

I have ridden motorcycles of one type or another for over 30 years starting with a dirt bike when I was a kid. I was the proud owner of Harley Davidsons and other various models, for more than twenty years. There came a day when I looked around and realized that Harleys had become the bike of choice of nearly everybody! The uniqueness and image that had first gotten me interested in H-D was gone and I didn’t like it! Along comes American Ironhorse and the Texas Chopper! Everything I loved about Harley was here only more of it. More chrome, more power, more braided lines and cables more head turning good looks and shine. This is NOT a Road King, Fat Boy, Low Rider, etc. It IS a Chopper, it’s a little stiffer, it sits lower and MAY bottom out if you’re not careful going over high spots but I have gone 300 miles on it in a day and was no more tired or stiff than I was after 300 miles on my Softail Custom. Everything works, perfectly! The speedo/tach are in perfect eye position, I love the automatic dimming depending on light conditions, the controls are comfortable, the bike tracks down the road beautifully, so well in fact that I have ridden many times with no hands (not recommended!). The get up and go will push you out of the saddle if you don’t hang on! And the icing on the cake is that even when I go to a rally like Laconia, my Texas Chopper is NOT one of thousands, she stands out like a beautiful rose in a briar patch.
