This is part two of adjustments made to the under frame ‘hidden’ shock absorbers on my Ironhorse Texas chopper. These adjustments were made by a trained motorcycle mechanic and are posted here just as an example of what was done on one particular motorcycle.

One should keep in mind that there is a wide variety of motorcycles that have these hidden rear shocks. So, there are many different models of similar looking shock absorbers on the market. The adjustments made in this video were just to one particular model motorcycle and one particular model of rear shock absorbers.

As your rear shock absorbers are an integral part of the motorcycle, you should not try to make any adjustments to them on your own. To be sure it’s done right, and to be safe, bring your motorcycle in to your authorized motorcycle mechanic to inspect and see if you are shock absorbers need any adjustments or replacement.

You people should cover both front and rear suspension on the video so people that don’t know much can learn how to set there bike up.

Ummm what you do to the rear suspension effects your front and vise versa. Why din’t you cover that as well because people are going to end up adjusting just the rear and not know anything about the front, that is not a good thing. If you adjust one and not both, that’s going to be a shitty ride and change the characteristics of your whole bike.
